We currently offer shipping Australia-wide.
Item(s) purchased for delivery within Australia are generally shipped via Australia Post. For larger or heavier orders such as works of art, we may utilise a courier service such as Fastway Couriers or Sendle.
Shipping rates are determined based on the total weight of your order. Lightweight orders such as small items of jewellery or scarves, will generally qualify for our $5.00 shipping rate.
Items totalling up to 500g (including packaging) will incur a $10.00 shipping rate. Items totalling up to 3kg (including packaging) will incur a $15 shipping rate.
You will see shipping rates at the checkout.
For large items such as works of art you will see a nominal $50 shipping fee at checkout. Your actual shipping fee may be different to this. Prior to shipping your order we will contact you to confirm shipping charges, as they may vary from this amount depending on your location and whether you would like to add insurance.
Orders within Australia should arrive within 3 – 5 business days after shipping date.
If you live on or near the Sunshine Coast, you are welcome to save on shipping and pick up your order from our store in Montville.
We are happy to ship to many international destinations, however shipping charges vary depending on your location and the unfortunate reality is that the cost of shipping to you may be difficult to justify.
However, we do love the idea of sending locally made wares to far flung places, so please contact us if you would like a shipping quote and we will do our best to make it cost effective.
You will receive all relevant tracking information once we have shipped your purchase.
It is really important to us that you are happy with your purchase. We stand by all our makers and their handmade items and do our very best with photography and product descriptions.
If a package is damaged in transit please photograph the package and contents if possible and notify us immediately at firstname.lastname@example.org so we can follow up with the shipping carrier. All damages must be reported within 3 days of delivery, otherwise we are unable to assist after this.
If your purchase is faulty in some other way, please contact us within 7 days of receiving your order either via our contact page or email us at email@example.com and we will organise with you the return of the item, and notify you of your refund or exchange once we have received and processed the returned item.
We are sorry that we cannot accept returns if you have just changed your mind.
To arrange your return, please follow the steps below:
- Contact us via email or our website within 7 days of receiving your item/s and let us know your concern (3 days for packages damaged in transit).
- Safely package and have the item/s sent back to us.
- Once the item/s have been received we will issue you with a replacement item or a refund for the item's value.
Please note that:
- All items being returned must be in as new condition with all original packaging, labels and tags.
- You must contact us via email or our website to register your return and obtain a return address. Any returns received without prior notice will not be accepted.
- If making an exchange, your new item will not be dispatched until your return item has been received.
- Returned items must be adequately packaged for safe delivery back to us as we cannot accept any responsibility for lost or damaged items.
- Your return is valid for a refund based on the original item value only. Shipping charges are excluded.
- We are unable to accept returns or exchanges on sale items (sorry).
You should expect to receive your refund within 10 days of giving your package to the return shipper. In most cases you will receive a refund more quickly. This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper, the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it, and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request.
We accept payment via Visa and Mastercard.
Orders will be dispatched once payment has been confirmed.
Makersville does not receive any of your credit card details when you pay through Visa or Mastercard. Any personal details we do get from you (name, address, telephone or email address) will not be disclosed or used for any other secondary purposes.
